The history of Johnny Depp and the character Don Quixote is a tale of despair. He was supposed to play Miguel de Cervantes most famous character in a film directed by Terry Gilliam, but many problems caused the film to halt filming and it never took off. But now it has been revealed that Depp will be producing a new project but without the involvement of Gilliam.
There is no plans on whether Depp will star, but he will be producing alongside Christi Dembroski on the untitled project. HOT TUB TIME MACHINE director Steve Pink will be writing the script with Jeff Morris.
Do you think it’s a bit rude that Depp will be in a different Don Quixote project without Gilliam?
