While we wind down for the years end, the real work starts for many features awaiting release and vying for those top honours, one effort being Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED. The film, set during the late 1800s, will see Jamie Foxx headline as a recently freed slave-turned-bounty hunter, out for revenge on the ruthless plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) who has Foxx’s wife (Kerry Washington) working in the fields. Christoph Waltz takes the role of a fellow bounty hunter who teams up with the vengeance-seeking hero.
Here we have the first clip from the film (coming via a television interview with co-star Don Johnson (at around four minutes in)) and we also have some impressive new images and a TV spot. We spoil you!
DJANGO UNCHAINED co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Jonah Hill, Walton Goggins, James Remar, Zoe Bell, Amber Tamblyn, Dennis Christopher and Franco Nero. It lands in cinemas from 26th December in the US, while the UK waits until 18th January 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
