It’s finally here — one of the most highly anticipated movie trailers of 2012.
It has been an exciting week for STAR TREK fans, what with the release of the first official poster and now the breaking news of a first trailer.
According to the Twitter-savvy Simon Pegg, the STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS trailer will have an exclusive one minute online debut on 6 December. That means, as of tomorrow, the Internet will be blanketed with a variety of speculations on director J.J. Abrams’ latest installment.
Arriving in tandem with the debut film of Peter Jackson’s return to Middle Earth, the new trailer is an early holiday gift for devoted Trekkies across the globe. Those looking for more than a minute-long online sneak peak can also check out the two-minute trailer that will be attached to the 14 December release of THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY. On top of all that, extra-keen fans can view a nine-minute preview which is scheduled to be attached to select IMAX screenings of THE HOBBIT.
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is set for a 17 May 2013 release. The countdown is on.
