New Stills & Viral Image From ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’

Whilst there may be no ‘Massacre’ in this new ‘Leatherface’ title, expect more brainless and beautiful teenage victims dispatched using that handy limp-lopping power tool in the now customary 3D. TAKERS director John Luessenhop is the man behind this direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic 70s shocker, which just so happens to include a cameo from the originals legendary director as well as the original Leatherface Gunner Hansen and surviving scream-queen Marilyn Burns.

The film will see the stunning Alexandra Daddario’s Heather and her friend-filled camper-van, venture to the Texan State to finalise an inheritance from a mystery relative. Of course, that relative soon insists ‘The Saw Is Family’ and wants Heather to feel the buzz.

Check out these new images (the first we’ve seen of former Chop Top himself, Bill Moseley, in the role of Drayton Sawyer), which also include a new viral image of a police file entitled ‘day of the incident’.

TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D will cut up cinema screens from the 4th January 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
