They’ll soon be working together again on a fifth action-spectacular involving the IMF team on another MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, but we’ll first have to look forward to writer/director Christopher McQuarrie and superstar Tom Cruise’s JACK REACHER. The film is based on Lee Child’s novel ‘One Shot‘ (the films working and expected title at one point) and will see Cruise’s character attempting to clear the name of an innocent man suspected of a sniper killing spree.
Following today’s impressive international trailer giving us further action-packed insight (and new footage) into JACK REACHER, we have the first clip featuring the military investigative hero kicking ass – five against one!
The film arrives in cinemas in the US on the 21st December, before reaching the UK on Boxing Day and co-stars Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Jai Courtney and Werner Herzog.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
