I’d hope that you’ve all seen Christopher Nolan’s epic THE DARK KNIGHT RISES by now but with the release of the film coming to DVD & Blu-ray in a couple of weeks, there has been a huge number of bonus concept art, images, alternative artwork and posters arrive online to remind us how awesome it is! I’ve also got a feeling that our collective letters to Santa Claus included a lovely shiny disc of our high-flying hero Batman and his battle against laryngitis, sorry, the brutal villain Bane.
Well, we’ve a new trio of clips showcasing the behind-the-scenes stadium collapse, Tom Hardy’s transformation into hulking Bane and Anne Hathaway’s high-heeled hottie Selena Kyle plus the new pic above of her prowling around on all fours…*gulp*
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is available on DVD and Blu-ray from the 3rd December. Can you wait until Christmas Day for yours? Get begging your parents, other half or shop keeper for an early present. Give ’em those new slippers in return, if needs be!
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
