Coming from the Oscar-winning co-writer and director of THE HURT LOCKER, Kathryn Bigelow once again goes behind enemy lines to tell of the decade-long pursuit of the worlds most wanted terrorist – Osama bin Laden. ZERO DARK THIRTY sees Jessica Chastain take the lead as a C.I.A. analyst who becomes obsessed the tracking down the infamous Al-Qaeda leader and finally locates his whereabouts before Elite Team Six take over and execute the mission.
Chastain’s performance has been praised highly in a number of early screenings, so don’t be surprised if we see her name featured at the award ceremonies for Best Actress. Check out this new special look at the film coming via US news coverage programme, Nightline.
ZERO DARK THIRTY co-stars Joel Edgerton, Nash Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jason Clarke, Frank Grillo, Scott Adkins, Mark Strong, James Gandolfini, Kyle Chandler, Jennifer Ehle, Stephen Dillane and hits US from the 19th December, before expanding from 11th January 2013. The film will arrive in the UK on the 25th January.
