Scheduling conflicts have been cited as the reason behind Shia LaBeouf’s sudden departure from the upcoming police thriller TRIPLE NINE.
Overseen by his LAWLESS director, Australian filmmaker John Hillcoat, the drama was set to star LaBeouf in the lead role. However, Hillcoat revealed in a recent phone interview that LaBeouf was forced to drop out of the project due to the productions schedule. Hillcoat is expected to recast the role in the near future.
The outspoken star has been in the news quite often as late, specifically generating Internet discussion about his supposedly explicit (and real!) sex scenes in the upcoming Lars von Trier film, NYMPHOMANIAC.
Both TRIPLE NINE and NYMPHOMANIAC are scheduled for 2013 releases.
