Possibly a risky subject to tackle so soon after last years subsequent killing of notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden, Kathryn Bigelow’s ZERO DARK THIRTY will follow one determined woman’s decade-long obsessive pursuit to locate the Al-Qaeda leader and will no doubt be a crowd-pleaser in the US.
Jessica Chastain heads the cast with her politically-charged character leading the investigation codenamed ZERO DARK THIRTY, alongside an elite team of Navy SEAL’s played by Joel Edgerton, Nash Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jason Clarke, Frank Grillo and Scott Adkins.
The cast also includes Mark Strong, James Gandolfini, Kyle Chandler, Jennifer Ehle, Stephen Dillane and we have a further bunch of images and a new poster for the film due in cinemas on a limited scale in the US from the 19th December, before expanding from 11th January 2013. The film will arrive in the UK on the 25th January.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
