Tom Cruise Gets Tough In Two ‘Jack Reacher’ TV Spots & International Poster

I haven’t exactly been enthralled by the impending release of latest Tom Cruise starrer JACK REACHER, mostly because by naming a film after a character I know nothing about just doesn’t get me going. It’s like calling a film John Jones, or Matthew Crinklebottom. Luckily for JACK REACHER, these latest TV spots are pretty awesome, with Cruise delivering some bad ass lines with excellent timing. The film is based on a book by Lee Child and is only the second directorial outing for Christopher McQuarrie after 2000’s THE WAY OF THE GUN.

JACK REACHER is released 21st December 2012 in the US and 26th December 2012 in the UK. It stars Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Michael Raymond-James, Richard Jenkins, Werner Herzog, and Alexander Rhodes in the critical role of Suspicious Onlooker.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

Sorry, but Tom Cruise will never be Jack Reacher. All the books have a page specifically detailing Jack – height 6ft 5. It’s only cos TC owns the film rights. Otherwise this travesty would never happen.
After being a huge fan of the books, I will not be seeing the film. Tom Cruise has spoilt this much loved character for me!
