The bravely titled EPIC has already had a somewhat impressive trailer. That’s speaking in terms of visuals, if I’m honest it all looks a bit FERNGULLY THE LAST RAIN FOREST (1992) to me. However, these latest images really do show a film that is perhaps a little more imaginative in character design than was first thought. From Blue Sky Studios, the chaps behind ICE AGE (2002) and RIO(2011), the film sees a teenager transported into a miniature forest world where the battle between good and evil rages on. Why can’t good and evil just get along?
EPIC is released 24th May 2013. It stars the vocal talents of Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Beyonce Knowles, and Johnny Knoxville.
