An all-star cast join together in Louis Leterrier’s latest film which involves a group of magicians known as The Four Horseman (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco) who openly rob a bank during one of their shows. Only problem for the FBI (Mark Ruffalo) is that they can’t prove how the magicians managed to pull off the stunt as they were in LA and the bank was in Paris. Quite the conundrum indeed. The FBI turn to magic debunker Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman) to help with the case.
The first trailer is now here for your viewing pleasure and looks to have enough mind games, action, and funny bits, to make a fairly pleasing blockbuster. However, I’m just looking at this as though it were JONATHAN CREEK the movie. Although I guess Morgan Freeman is the black Alan Davies. It’s also nice to see Alfred Pennyworth and Lucius Fox reunited on screen after the events of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
NOW YOU SEE ME is released in the US on 7th June 2013 and in the UK on 21st June 2013. It stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Melanie Laurent, Common, Michael Kelly, and Elias Koteas.
