We already know how funny Nick Frost (SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ) can be, so to see him dressed head to toe in salsa dancing gear will send many fans a’giggling. And his choice of clothing isn’t just to spice up the usual t-shirt-and-jeans clobber; it’s his new costume for upcoming comedy CUBAN FURY.
Frost stars as Bruce Garrett, a depressed, overweight man who decides to reignite his passion for salsa dancing after he’s crushed by dance-diva rival Drew (Chris O’Dowd). However, Bruce doesn’t want to just beat down O’Dowd; his real motivation comes in the form of his sexy American boss Julia, played by Rashida Jones. Co-starring Ian McShane as Frost’s dance teacher, CUBAN FURY is written by MISFITS scribe Jon Brown and is directed by James Griffiths (FREE AGENTS). Check out the stills below!
CUBAN FURY is due for release here in the UK from 22nd March 2013. It’s still awaiting a US release date.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
