Website Launched, Wallpapers & New Clip For Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

Any film coming from a man as talented as former video-store clerk Quentin Tarantino is certainly one to excite. Coming from the writer and director of genuine classics RESERVOIR DOGS, PULP FICTION and KILL BILL, his latest looks truly awesome. There aren’t many filmamkers that have stars lining up to be a part of their project or who can assemble the incredible casts that he does.

DJANGO UNCHAINED tips its hat to western genre – with more than a little twist. Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx headlines as the recently-freed title character. His sympathetic anti-hero is hell bent on revenge after years in the slave trade and determined to rescue his wife from the same fate. He teams up with a slave-liberating dentist (Christoph Waltz), who just so happens to moonlight as a bounty hunter intent on bringing down cackling, moustachioed villain Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his band of henchmen. The very bastard who owns Django’s wife!

The films’ official website has just launched today, which included a number of wallpaper screensavers to put on to your desktop. We’ve added them all below as well as a brand new clip from the ‘southern’ due in US cinemas 25th December and 18th January 2013, for us impatient people in the UK.

DJANGO UNCHAINED co-stars Walton Goggins, Don Johnson, Kerry Washington, Dennis Christopher, James Remar, Samuel L. Jackson and Jonah Hill.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
