If you’re building up to a Christmas release of an adaptation of a hit musical that runs at 2 hours and 35 minutes without end credits, then you’re going to want to make sure that you advertise the hell out of it. That’s exactly what is going to happen for LES MISERABLES, and to prove it, we now have two TV spots. LES MISERABLES is based on the musical phenomenon that, in its 27th year, is still breaking records. It has been seen by over 60 million people around the world and has been performed in 42 countries and 21 languages. That pretty much guarantees a box office success, and when you add Academy Award winning director Tom Hooper into the mix along with performances from Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, and Anne Hathaway, we could be looking at something quite extraordinary. However, quite how Hathaway beet out Susan Boyle for the role is beyond me.
LES MISERABLES is released on 25th December 2012 in the US and 11th January 2013 in the UK. It stars Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
