We may have to wait a little longer for the trailer to WORLD WAR Z, but for now, thanks to ET, we can show some brief footage taken from the trailer that is set to premiere on Thursday. Based on the book by Mel Brooks’ son Max Brooks, it sees the most Zombies you’ve ever seen, forming walls and rivers of the undead.
With such little footage and the Zombie genre becoming increasingly overused, this looks surprisingly fresh. They’ve really taken the idea of a World War of the Zombies quite literally. It will still be interesting to see how the film adapts the book, which is not a conventional narrative, into a feature length film. Especially considering the number of rewrites and reshoots the film went through.
WORLD WAR Z is released 21st June 2013. It stars Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox, and David Morse.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
