So THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY doesn’t actually hit cinema screens till 14th December, but if you want to be prepared Warner Bros will be selling tickets starting on Wednesday 7th November. As well as Hobbit tickets, Warner Bros will also be selling tickets for a marathon of the extended THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY showing on December 8th and 9th.
Warner Bros has said that it’s expecting ‘a big result as we start the journey of all three films.’ Tickets will go on sale at noon EST on Wednesday so get your credit cards ready! Peter Jackson has given us plenty of choices when it comes to how you want to see in the film, you can see it in 2D, 3D, 24FPS (regular), digital and HFR, as well as IMAX. So get deciding and get booking!
THE HOBBIT follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins, played by Martin Freeman, who is sent on a epic adventure to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor which was conquered long ago by the dragon Smaug.
Directed by Peter Jackson, the first in THE HOBBIT trilogy will arrive in cinemas on 14th December.
