Gathering a male lead cast of four legendary Oscar-winners must have been a tall order for director Jon Turteltaub as the four egos battle for supremacy in ‘good ol’ boys’ comedy LAST VEGAS. The plot will follow the four best friends in their late-60s, played by the iconic foursome of Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline, who decide to escape retirement by throwing a bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single in Sin City itself, Las Vegas.
Turteltaub has a sketchy resume at best, with fun Nicolas Cage action-adventure duo NATIONAL TREASURE possibly being his biggest and best hit (although I do have a soft spot for his 1996 sci-fi drama PHENOMENON, with John Travolta). In the meantime, check out our first look at the cast of LAST VEGAS:

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
