A few days ago, THN brought you news that one of our favourite underrated actors, Thomas Jane, had just announced the main cast for his upcoming western and second directorial effort. THE PUNISHER star is set to take the lead alongside the awesome double of Nick Nolte and Jeremy Irons in A MAGNIFICENT DEATH FROM A SHATTERED HAND, which as we earlier reported, is expected to undergo a shortened title of A MAGNIFICENT DEATH. The western is devised from a concept based a short film Jane showed at this year’s Comic-Con and will now go into a full length production.
Comic-book/poster artist and Jane’s Raw Studios production partner, Tim Broadstreet, has given fans a sneak-peak at his new poster design for the film expected late next year. Jane meanwhile, will next be seen in SAW V director David Hackl’s survival-thriller RED MACHINE alongside the impressive cast of Billy Bob Thornton, Scott Glenn, James Marsden, Piper Perabo and Adam Beach.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
