Superstorm Sandy? How About A ‘Sharknado’?

We here at THN always try and look on the positive side of things. So with all the destruction and chaos caused by superstorm Sandy, at least it isn’t as bad as nature’s most severe form of punishment, the rare but oft talked about SHARKNADO. That’s right! A tornado containing sharks. We have truly reached the new epitome of creative geniousness. The film comes from the fantastic studio The Asylum, who are responsible for classics including SNAKES ON A TRAIN, TRANSMORPHERS, and MEGA PIRANHA. If that isn’t enough to get your excitement nodules in a twist, how about the tagline ‘Enough Said!’ Enough said indeed. The film’s official synopsis (it does have one, no expense spared on this production), runs as follows.

When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.

Simply brilliant.
