Only this morning we brought you news that found-footage horror anthology V/H/S was moving forward with a sequel, which will involve new directing contributors Gareth Evans (THE RAID) and Eduardo Sanchez (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT). I found V/H/S punishing to sit through with only one or two of the stories really working for me (and even then, not that impressive). For me, it’s not in the same class as the likes of similar fare TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE, CREEPSHOW or even its fun but lesser sequel. Still, our boy Luke found V/H/S right up his street, so you may wanna give it a chance.
We here in the UK are still awaiting the films release in cinemas, which is slated for 18th January 2013, and we have the first look at the new quad design poster.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
