Sam Raimi’s THE WIZARD OF OZ prequel is still five months away and after the recent teaser trailer, it’s got to be up there with the most anticipated of next year’s blockbusters. James Franco takes the title role in OZ: THE GREAT & POWERFUL, which chronicles the early years of the small-time circus magician-turned-Emperor of the land and is based on L. Frank Baum’s best-selling novel.
We’re able to bring you this stunning, brand new poster for the film that will also chart the poisoned friendship of kind witches Theodora (Mila Kunis) and Glinda (Michelle Williams) by the jealous Evanora (Rachael Weisz).
OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL will land in cinemas 8th March 2013

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
