A second poster has been released for HITCHCOCK. While the first poster was witty, original and simply brilliant the second one doesn’t say much and has Hopkins and Mirren, who are playing the Hitchcocks, ‘dramatically’ standing next to each other. Thank god for the tagline which spells out the purpose for us: ‘Behind every Psycho is a great woman’ – pun intended. The poster also shows headshots of the supporting cast on the bottom including Jessica Biel, Scarlette Johansson, Toni Collette, Danny Huston, James D’Arcy and Michael Wincott.
HITCHCOCK which is directed by Sacha Gervasi will open the 26th AFI Fest this week. The film is apparently a love story and follows what was going on behind the scenes of the making of Hitchcock classic PYCHO.
