Quentin Tarantino may possibly be one of the most popular director/ writers working today, consistently turning out great movies with baffling frequency and ingenuity. His last film, 2009’s INGLORIOUS BASTARDS, was released to rapturous reception from critics and audiences alike, but rumour has it that the long-anticipated DJANGO UNCHAINED will be the second in a historically-flavoured trilogy.
INGLORIOUS BASTARDS was the director’s first venture into period film-making, set in 1940s Europe, and with DJANGO UNCHAINED being a take on the pre-Civil War world of slavery and plantations in the southern states, it’s anyone guess what will come next, or which genre Tarantino will make his own.
DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Jonah Hill, and Don Johnson. It arrives in US cinemas 25th December and UK cinemas 10th January 2013.
