Steven Spielberg and the word ‘epic’ go together perfectly, and if you didn’t already know, the legendary director is taking on the might of American history with his biopic LINCOLN starring the equally accomplished Daniel Day Lewis. So far, we’ve witnessed the incredible trailer and you can also listen to some of the scored soundtrack by the enigmatic John Williams.
Today, we’ve got some images showing us more of the cast involved, including Jackie Earle Haley (WATCHMEN) as Alexander Stephens, the Vice-President of the Confederate States of America. There’s Lee Pace (THE FALL) as Democratic representative Fernando Woods, Hal Holbrook (WALL STREET) as Preston Blair, the founder of the new Republican Party and James Spader as W. N. Bilbo (no relation to THE HOBBIT…), a Tennessee lawyer and lobbyist. Take a look:
LINCOLN arrives in UK cinemas on 25th January and we haven’t even mentioned Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and an immense cast on this occasion, oh, now we have!
