THE SHINING is undoubtedly one of Stanley Kubrick’s masterpieces but with such surrealism and horror, comes cult followings and consequential discussion on plot, interpretation and hidden meaning. In ROOM 237, we hear from people who believed they have decoded the far-reaching theories, hidden symbols and messages buried in the late director’s film. Carefully examining THE SHINING forwards and backwards, ROOM 237 is equal parts provocative and pure pleasure and is directed by Rodney Ascher.
ROOM 237 had its worldwide premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and played in Directors Fortnight the Cannes Film Festival, it also had a recent showing at the London Film Festival and check out our review. Today, we also have the new trailer for you!
ROOM 237 is released on October 26th and visit their official site for more details.
