Oscar-winners Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz will unite as bounty-hunting double act Django and Dr. King Schultz, who vow to take on vicious Candie Land plantation-owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his band of brutal henchmen, after learning Django’s wife is now in the villains’ hands.
Already this week we’ve had the most impressive trailer yet from Quentin Tarantino’s spectacular-looking ‘southern’ DJANGO UNCHAINED. Now we follow that up with a far eastern-inspired design for the film, that certainly feels rather more KILL BILL than kill Candie.
DJANGO UNCHAINED will be released in January 2013 and co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, Kerry Washington, M.C. Gainey, Jonah Hill, Amber Tamblyn, Franco Nero, Zoe Bell, James Remar, Tom Savini and Don Johnson.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
