Black Bond A Possibility According To New Bond Girl Naomie Harris

Since the world has gone SKYFALL mad, it wouldn’t be long before the big old question crept up to the cast, will there ever be a black James Bond? Well according to new bond girl Naomie Harris, it could be happening.  In a press conference held for SKYFALL, Harris told the press that while she was doing a film with Idris Elba, he revealed that he had met with JAMES BOND producer Barbra Broccoli. Harris then went on to say: “It does seem like there is a possibility in the future that there could very well be a black James Bond.” However it doesn’t look like it will be happen soon, the current 007 Daniel Craig has reportedly signed up to be in two more BOND films. At least it’s nice to know that they are considering it.

    And why not.
Idris Elba would make a cracking Bond.

    Umm because Bond is white?
That would just be Pc nonsense .
Like making a film about 2Pac with Daniel Craig… Daft.

Would there ever be a white John Shaft? No, and for the same reason there should never be a black James Bond! The character is a white man, more specifically an Englishman. Don’t screw with a formula that works, you’ll ruin it.

Poor comparison I know, but Nick Fury used to be white.
Hell, I still think David Hasselhoff did a better job of it than Sam Jackson. |
Taking political correctness out of the equation, a black actor playing Bond wouldn’t be a big deal to me.

Besides, there are some that say “James Bond” is a codename anyway.
