Professional photographer Tyler Shields is currently prepping his directorial debut with twisted, vengeance-fuelled thriller FINAL GIRL. We can now confirm the full cast and plot synopsis for the expected, extreme feature slated for cinemas next year. Abigail Breslin, Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley, Logan Huffman, Connor Paolo, Francesca Eastwood and Michael Trevino will all depict the terrifying events that go as follows:
Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.
We also have this first teaser poster which has been put together for prospective sales and distribution purposes. However, it does look a little similar the I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE original and remake posters. Still, I love a good gory thriller and this could be an intriguing new spin on a well worn sub-genre.
