So, it has been a few weekends since DOCTOR WHO said that very sad goodbye to Amy Pond and Rory Williams but what about Rory’s dad Brian, played by the fantastic Mark Williams? Chris Chibnall had written one more scene and although it was never filmed, we have the storyboard and there’s still a little voiceover speech from Arthur Darvill to his on-screen father. It’s actually rather poignant, would we expect anything less from Moffat’s DOCTOR WHO? I wouldn’t. Take a look below, it works even though this is just the storyboard and, in fact, it’s probably even more affecting because of it.
