Ben Stiller denied rumours that Lady Gaga will have a role in the ZOOLANDER sequel. Earlier this week, The Sun had claimed that Gaga had been offered £3 million to star in the sequel that has had a bit of trouble going into production.
“Zoolander LadyGaga story is not true,” Stiller said on his Twitter account today (October 19). “Weird that OK magazine would print something untrue,” he said referring to OK magazine’s post on the story, before joking: “Weird to read a made up story on the internet.”
Stiller, who played model Derek Zoolander opposite Owen Wilson’s in the film, revealed that he had a script for ZOOLANDER 2, but was initially struggling to get it off the ground:
“We have a script, as we’ve had for a little while, and it’s not quite coming together right now, I hope it does. I would like to do it at some point in the future.”
