If you’re not exactly a James Bond or Jason Bourne fan, then perhaps you will prefer the slightly rough around the edges antics of Danny Trejo in MACHETE KILLS. In the sequel to the MACHETE, a film based on a fake trailer that featured in Robert Rodriguez’s and Quentin Tarantino’s GRINDHOUSE, Machete is hired by the president of the USA to take down an arms dealer who wants to launch a missile into space.
This first still shows the wonderful Amber Heard attempting to seduce Danny Trejo’s Machete, and who can blame her? The man’sa sexual tyrannosaur. The film has a large and bonkers cast ranging from sitcom star Charlie Sheen as the US president, to the likes of Lady Gaga. Open Road Films have just picked up the film for North American distribution.
MACHETE KILLS is released in 2013. It stars Danny Trejo,Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Cuba Gooding Jr, Edward James Olmos,Michelle Rodriguez, Alexa Vega, Sofia Vergara, Vanessa Hudgens, and Lady Gaga.
