Now as we all know, when a young child hears the word “killer” they immediately begin to stab the closest person to them. This is why Warner Bros. and New Line have made the wise decision to change the title to of the Bryan Singer directed JACK THE GIANT KILLER to the more family friendly JACK THE GIANT SLAYER. I don’t when slaying became more acceptable than killing, but there you go. Other titles considered were Jack The Giant Disemboweler and Jack The Giant Peach.
The film has also been brought forward after ELYSIUM was moved to fill the August slot that ROBOCOP vacated when that film was moved to February 2014. So JACK THE GIANT SLAYER will now be released 22nd March 2013.
JACK THE GIANT SLAYER is released 22nd March 2013. It stars Nicolas Hoult, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, and Bill Nighy.
