DRAGON premiered in Cannes over a year ago. The martial arts epic starring Donnie Yen received rave reviews and sees an unassuming man from a small village become the focus point for gangsters after he protects his turf. We now have a trailer and by Jove does it look stunning. The fights and chases are already obviously wonderfully choreographed and the slow motion seems used well. The addition of Takeshi Kaneshiro as a detective adds a film noir quality. This looks ace and I can’t wait to see it.
DRAGON will be released via VOD on 26th October, and will have a limited theatrical release 30th November in the US. It stars Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Wei Tang, and Yu Wang.
