Yes, it’s another alternative take on superheroes but KICK ASS and SUPER were both great so let’s go for another. ALTER EGOS features a bunch of super-humans undergoing a super-crisis as they lose government funding for their crime fighting escapades. Written and directed by the relative unknown (or ‘up-and-comer’ if we’re feeling optimistic) Jordan Galland, ALTER EGOS is distributed by Kevin Smith’s Smodcast Pictures.

ALTER EGOS gets a limited cinematic run in the US this Friday, before hitting Netflix and the like in November. No UK release as yet so this may go straight-to-DVD.
