We barely have time to breathe after the UK release of REC 3: GENESIS before we get a brand new teaser trailer for REC 4: APOCALYPSE. I’m playing fast and loose with the term ‘brand new’ there, as their is no original footage which isn’t surprising when you realise the film hasn’t even started shooting yet. Despite this, the trailer is still effectively creepy and resulted in me having flashbacks to the sheer terror I felt watching the original. Like REC 3: GENESIS, the fourth installment is reportedly going to drop the found footage format (sad face), but director of REC and REC 2, Jaume Balaguero, is set to return.
