Director Ben Wheatley is a firm favourite at THN towers after the deliciously dark DOWN TERRACE and ambiguous hitman horror KILL LIST. Some of us lucky buggers have already seen his latest (sadly, not me), and word is Wheatley has done it again with caravanning killer-couple comedy SIGHTSEERS.
The film will get its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on 20th/21st October before arriving on general release on 30th November. Steve Oram and Alice Lowe play Chris and Tina, whose blossoming new relationship while holidaying in the Great British outdoors takes a rather hilariously sadistic turn.
We have four new ‘character’ posters for the film that will co-star Sara Stewart, Tony Way, Richard Lumsden, Lucy Russell and Jonathan Aris.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
