KICK-ASS 2 director Jeff Wadlow has been a busy little tweeter of late. Last week he tweeted a picture that teased a bunch of guns in an open casket, and now he’s at it again with this latest picture. It shows a model that will probably be the lair of super-villain Red Mist, as it shows a resemblance to what is shown in the comics (or so they tell me). I’m guessing the red people are simply members of the public, and the more colourful ones are specific characters. But I could just be getting ahead of myself.
Jeff Wadlow takes over from Matthew Vaughan in this sequel to the film about a young man who decided he would fight crime despite a lack of super powers or skills. This sequel will see the son of the previous film’s main villain out for revenge with a new gang of bad and cruel individuals. BOO HISS!
KICK-ASS 2 is released 19th July 2013. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Donald Faison, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Leguizamo, and Jim Carrey.

I have really loved all of the hints at the new movie that Jeff Wadlow is providing. Although it is making the wait for the sequel even harder, I love seeing this model for Red Mist’s lair. A co-worker at DISH who loves the comics mentioned that it looks very similar to what is depicted in the comics, which gives me hope for this movie. To try to cope with the wait, I have rented the original several times from Blockbuster @Home. With my busy schedule, I love that it is so easy to get it delivered by mail. This movie seems amazing so far, I can’t wait to see this model come to life when the movie finally premieres.
