Stand-up comic Ross Noble will make his feature film debut in a horror film surprisingly enough. Less surprisingly, he’ll be playing a killer clown known as STITCHES. The film will see Noble as a children’s entertainer, but after a prank by some children leaves him impaled on a kitchen knife, he winds up dead. Years later he is resurrected and returns to get revenge on the children who are having another party, but this time it’s a teenage party filled with alcohol and debauchery. The film looks to be gruesome and also bloomin’ hilarious. I’m not the biggest fan of Noble’s stand-up, but I do tend to enjoy his contributions on panel shows. Whether or not he will make a convincing homicidal clown is another story.
STITCHES is released 26th November 2012. It stars Ross Noble, Tommy Knight, Gemma-Leah Devereux, John McDonnell, and Eoghan McQuinn.
