The latest movie trailer to generate buzz on social media is the upcoming Warner Bros. thriller, BROKEN CITY – a good cop vs. bad mayor set-up with an all-star cast.
When New York’s mayor (Russell Crowe) asks a decorated former cop (Mark Wahlberg) for a personal favour, the stage is set for an epic clash when the plan backfires. Crowe’s mayor suspects that his beautiful wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is sleeping around behind his back and enlists the help of Wahlberg’s cop for photographic evidence. “Ever do any hunting?” Crowe’s mayor asks. “You should try it, you’d be a natural.”
When the cop provides solid proof of an affair, the man in the photos suddenly turns up dead. Chaos ensues.
Directed by Allen Hughes, BROKEN CITY is scheduled for release in North America on 18th January, 2013. The dates for a UK cinematic release are TBA.
