Androgynous beauty Tilda Swinton and ex-HARRY POTTER werewolf David Thewlis have both been signed onto Terry Gilliam’s upcoming project, THE ZERO THEOREM.
Thewlis and Swinton will join lead actor Christoph Waltz (INGLORIOUS BASTERDS) alongside Lucas Hedges (MOONRISE KINGDOM) and French actress Mélanie Thierry. Not much is known about the plot (or who will play whom), but the official log-line states:
‘An eccentric and reclusive computer genius plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence—or the lack thereof—once and for all.’
With Gilliam’s last completed project (THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS) released nearly three years ago, it’s about time the film world was graced with something else from his wacky brain!
THE ZERO THEOREM starts production later this month. It is expected a release in late 2013.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
