Rob Zombie’s ‘The Lords Of Salem’ Gets A Trailer

Rob Zombie, you either love him or you hate him, or you kind of like a few of his films, or you’re just indifferent to him. No matter how you feel about him, we’ve got a brand new trailer for his next horror film THE LORDS OF SALEM. The trailer itself is a bit cryptic, but I’m guessing it is to do with witches and the Salem witch trials, more than it will be about a talking cat bent on world domination. The film will see a radio DJ (Sheri Moon Zombie) receiving strange records from The Lords, which she assumes to be the latest rock band, but she soon starts experiencing flashbacks to an earlier time. This will be Zombie’s first original film since 2005’s THE DEVIL’S REJECTS.

The trailer has shed loads of bizarre and fascinating imagery that will hopefully translate into thrills and scares. I’ve pretty much enjoyed most of Zombie’s efforts on some level, even if it’s just for a quick chill or gross-out scene. His love for horror of the 1970s has never been more apparent.

THE LORDS OF SALEM is released sometime in 2013. It stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Bruce Davison, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Ken Foree, Dee Wallace, Meg Foster, Maria Conchita Alonso, and Barbara Crampton.
