Attention LOTR nerds! THE HOBBIT is here to steal your evening with new viral game Riddles in the Dark. The same game that Bilbo Baggins is made to play when he first encounters Gollum, Riddles in the Dark sets fans the challenge of solving clues in order to survive Misty Mountains. So far I’ve only correctly solved one puzzle: what gets wetter as it dries? Anyone who has ever been disappointed with the contents of a Christmas cracker will know the answer to that. The questions that followed? Not so simple.
What does a man love more than life, fear more than death or mortal strife, what rich men need and poor men have, what misersspend and spendthrifts save, and all men carry to the grave?
No man has seen it, but all men know it. Lighter than air, sharper than any sword. Comes from nothing, but will fell the strongest armies.
A box without hinges, key or lid, yet golden treasure inside is hid.
You can try your hand at these riddles and more right here! Directed by Peter Jackson, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY reaches cinemas in 2D and 3D on 14th December 2012.
