Currently blowing film fans away in the awesome LOOPER, Bruce Willis will soon be back as John McClane in the fifth action-packed effort in the DIE HARD franchise. A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD (which I’m certain for us Brits, will be be marketed as DIE HARD 5), sees the hero cop having another very bad day while in Moscow to patch things up with son John Jr (Jai Courtney), when the bickering duo stumble upon a terrorist plot.
Director John Moore is at the helm this time around, which almost puts a downer on the project straight away considering he was responsible for the (dire) likes of THE OMEN remake, MAX PAYNE and FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX. Still, it’s DIE HARD… What could go wrong?
Here we have the first official image from the film set for cinemas 14th February 2013. Sorry, Valentines Day is cancelled ladies, us blokes have a date with dirty-vested veteran!
A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Amaury Nolasco and Julia Snigir.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
