The video-game-based blood-soaked sequel to Christophe Gans’ puzzling, head scratcher horror SILENT HILL is creeping up on us for a suitable release on Halloween. SOLOMON KANE and DEATHWATCH’s Michael J. Bassett is at the helm this time around, also bringing back the first films’ Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell and Deborah Kara Unger for more fiendish frights.
The plot sees newcomer Adelaide Clemens as the now grown Heather Mason who along with her father, has tried to avoid the supernatural forces that she doesn’t fully understand. The eve of her 18th birthday is now upon her and Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation also leads her to return to Silent Hill when her father disappears.
We have a very nice illustrated international poster which is clearly inspired by the legendary artist Drew Struzan (and a damn sight better than the previous poster), as well as an all-new television spot.
SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D co-stars Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Martin Donovan and Erin Pitt.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
