The hunt and subsequent killing of the worlds most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden, was always going to be brought to the big-screen in some form or another. POINT BREAK and THE HURT LOCKER Oscar-winner Katherine Bigelow was the one that landed the job, which was soon in production only a matter of months after the decade long mission came to an end. ZERO DARK THIRTY will chart the covert mission that saw every American punch the air when news broke of the al-Qaeda chiefs extermination at the hands of a crack team of Navy SEAL’s.
We have the latest poster design for the film that will hit cinemas 25th January 2013.
ZERO DARK THIRTY stars Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, Mark Strong and Jason Clarke.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
