Behind The Scenes Footage Of ‘White House Down’ Starring Jamie Foxx & Channing Tatum

Thanks to the people at E!, we have some behind the scenes footage of upcoming action film WHITE HOUSE DOWN, directed by disaster maestro Roland Emmerich.  in WHITE HOUSE DOWN Channing Tatum stars as a man who has just been denied a role with the secret service, but must protect the president (Jamie Foxx) after The White House is overcome by disgruntled cleaners seeking a raise…sorry, I meant terrorists. The film is scripted by James Vanderbilt, the writer of ZODIAC (2007), THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and DARKNESS FALLS (2003).

From the behind the scene clips, it looks as though Emmerich has gone to great lengths to recreate The White House and the action scenes look fun. Just imagine AIR FORCE ONE (1997) in a house. Or DIE HARD (1988) in The White House. Or the opening scene of X2 (2003) with less teleportation and extended over 2 hours.

WHITE HOUSE DOWN is released 6th September 2013. It stars Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Richard Jenkins, James Woods, and Rachelle Lefevre.
