James Gandolfini and Steve Carell’s collaboration on THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE isn’t released until 31st December 2013 in the US, and yet Gandolfini and Carell already want to work together again. They are lining themselves up for THE BONE MEN, a comedy that focuses on two paleontologists in the late 1800s. Steve Carell’s very own Carousel Productions will be behind the film, and reports suggest that Fox 2000 and HBO are both interested in the film.
I love the idea of old fashioned paleontologists, as I can imagine the humour in their early discoveries of dinosaur bones. Gandolfini is also able to be surprisingly funny when he wants to be, but I guess I’ll wait and see how THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE turns out before jumping for joy.
