Earlier today, we brought you the first trailer for Amy Heckerling’s comic-fangfest VAMPS and tonight you’re able to sink your teeth into another look at an altogether different bloodsucking effort. This clip (entitled Sunset Suicide), is from Dennis Gansel’s acclaimed international horror hit WE ARE THE NIGHT, which is set to make its long-awaited release on DVD 15th October, having originally been shot in 2010. The film had its UK premiere at this years FrightFest and tells the supernatural story of a trio of female vampires being hunted by a Berlin detective, while they stalk and seduce their latest affiliate.
On the strength of WE ARE THE NIGHT, Gansel landed the upcoming, unsettling Hollywood horror GRIM NIGHT, which you can check out the early teaser HERE. We’ve also added the trailer for this visually-stunning vampiric offering below, for those that missed it.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
