This autumn sees the release of two anticipated action thrillers, TAKEN 2 and LOOPER. TAKEN 2 is the follow-up to 2008’s kidnap revenge film in which Liam Neeson had to rescue his daughter after she was taken just 5 seconds after touching down in France. The sequel sees his wife kidnapped, and you can see what THN thinks here. LOOPER is more original and complicated, as Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a hitman who kills targets sent back in time from the future. Everything is going well until his own future self is sent back as a target. THN’s thoughts are here.
Since they are released just a week apart, you may be debating which film to see. If that’s the case then check out these 8 clips, 4 from each film, that may influence your decision.
LOOPER is released 28th September. TAKEN 2 follows on 4th October.
